What Client’s Say

“LD Golf supported The First Tee of Ireland in the development and implementation of our “Primary Days” National Schools Program. PGA Advanced Professional Liam Duggan, founder of LD Golf, with the support of fellow PGA colleagues delivered our programs in many counties around Ireland. Their approach was professional, engaging at all times and they helped to provide endless hours of enjoyment for the children that participated. Our feedback from the schools was very positive and the administrative follow through we required was prompt, accurate and always on time. I would be very happy to recommend LD Golf”

John Warren, CEO of The First Tee of Ireland.

“LDGolf were easy to work with, from the beginning they were organised and flexible to the needs of our pupils. They provided Garda Vetting and a comprehensive outline of the programme. I look forward to working with them in the future.”

Marianne Brady, Principal, Scoil Chaitríona Senior, Renmore, Galway.

“The children in our school were excited to hear of a new sport being introduced to our school in September. They thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from the three sessions. The instructors were friendly, organised and skills were developed from session to session. We would hope to have Liam and his PGA instructors back again next year.”

Clare Murphy, Acting Principal, St. Mary's Senior School, Dunmanway, Co. Cork.

"We had LDgolf Rising Stars coaches at our school, Vicarstown NS, Co. Cork. Throughout the 6 week programme I must say I noticed a marked improvement in the children's skill level. It was also very clear that they thoroughly enjoyed the lessons as they talked about the golf lessons with excitement in the run up to each Monday. Liam had an excellent way with the children. Not only was he was he skilled at making each lesson age appropriate, from Junior Infants-6th Class, his organised approach meant that each lesson ran incredibly smoothly. I have no hesitation in recommending LDgolf Rising Stars to other schools and have done so already."

Peter Mulcahy, Principal, Vicarstown NS.

"Children from Senior Infants to 5th Class in CBS Primary School, Tralee took part in the Rising Stars programme with Liam Duggan during the 2011/2012 school year. The classes proved popular with the children and ran over three terms. Attendance was high. The children enjoyed participating, and equally gained new skills during the sessions. Liam had an easy, warm manner with the children and his approach was friendly but firm. He had plenty of resources for all children and there was no waiting around or possibility of getting bored!"

Mary Mc Elligott, School Sports Co-ordinator, CBS Primary school, Tralee.

“Learning a new physical skill is hard work for a child with coordination or attention difficulties. Only when the skill is sufficiently mastered will playfulness and enjoyment in that activity emerge. In the programme we witnessed this enjoyment from the first time the children picked up a club. The colours, the targets and training brought novelty to the learning experience. The children were enthusiastic participants from the start and all have signed up for future programmes.”

Lisa Brennan, S/Occupational Therapist, Brothers of Charity Southern Services, Autism Services (Kerry).

“Last October, I realised that our club, Skibbereen and West Carbery Golf Club, had to tackle the issue of juvenile membership. Our numbers had been declining so we had to address the situation. I had heard about LD Golf and the exceptional reputation they have in Munster. I personally met Liam and Catherine in November and was immediately impressed with their business plan and how they might have an impact on our issues. I realised they were serious about the programme and that they were on this path for the long haul. I knew I was on to the right people when I saw that they employed PGA professionals, had the child protection policy and Garda vetting in place. Further to this, they were not in the business of selling products to the schools. This was most important to me in finding the right people, as I knew schools would shy away from the hard sell. I have introduced LD Golf to 29 local national schools; most have signed up to the programme and the feedback to date from participants has been very impressive and encouraging. This augers well for juvenile golf as it gives children the first encounter with our game in a safe and secure environment. Cost is only 2 euro per child weekly for a five week programme. LDgolf is run in a professional businesslike manner and the attention to detail will ensure that you will be 100% satisfied with the results. Juvenile golf is in good hands with these guys and the fun way of teaching golf to young people is assured. I would strongly recommend this programme to any club which is serious about growing and nurturing golf in a novel and safe format.”
